De la défense de Udine et de la frontière orientale (en 1915) à la construction de la paix (2015)

The goal of this project is to enhance the historical heritage of the municipalities of Pasian di Prato, Campoformido, Martignacco and Pagnacco, and through studies and research on First World War, paying particular attention at 1915 to define the role of aviation during the Great War.

L'objectif de ce projet est la valorisation du patrimoine historique des Communes de Pasian di Prato, Campoformido, Martignacco et Pagnacco gràce à des études et des recherches sur la Première guerre mondiale en prètant une attention particulière au 1915 pour définir le ròle de l'aviation dans la Grande Guerre.

In the above mentioned municipalities, there are numerous artifacts (well known airfields and infrastructures) of World War I that need to be valued. The artifacts are currently used by flight schools and are not well known by the general public, even less by tourists.

Dans les Communes citées ci-dessus, il y a de nombreuses constructions (des champs d'aviation et des infrastructures importantes) de la Première guerre mondiale qui nécessitent d'ètre valorisées. Les constructions qui sont utilisées de nos jours par les écoles d'aviation sont peu connues des personnes, encore moins des touristes.

This project also aims to contribute in publicizing “Villa Italia” in Martignacco, the headquarters where the King followed the developments throughout the conflict, and to develop awareness of the historically rich culture of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Since the project began, the strategic plan of Communication which provides accurate web marketing and marketing efforts on social networks for encourage people, especially young people to adequately preserve this heritage, will be put into action.

Ce projet a aussi la volonté de contribuer à faire connaitre la Villa Italia à Martignacco, le siège d'où le Roi suivait le conflit, et à développer la connaissance de la richesse culturelle du Frioul-Vénétie Julienne. Dès le début du projet, sera activé le plan stratégique de communication qui prévoit des actions précises de Web et Social Marketing pour augmenter l'intérèt des personnes, et en particuliers des jeunes, à conserver de façon adéquate ce patrimoine.

There will be iconographic and archival researches in the local archives of the towns interested but also in the Archives of Udine, in the Public Library Joppi and Historical Photo Library of Friuli to make the evolutionary phases of Campoformido artifacts, the most important field of Aviation of WWI since the entry into the war in 1915 to the retreat of Caporetto, known and enhancing the historical data of Campoformido, Pasian di Prato, Pagnacco and Martignacco. The documents of various Italian and Austro-Hungarian archives will be analyzed, including: the ISCAG, the AUSSME in Rome on Kriegsarchiv Vienna, the Kobarid Museum, different collections of Italian private collectors and Slovenians.

Des recherches archivistes et iconographiques seront entreprises dans les Archives locales des communes intéressèes mais aussi dans l'Archive Nationale de Udine, dans la Bibliothèque Civique Joppi et dans la Photothèque Historique du Frioul pour faire connaitre les phases évolutives des constructions de Campoformido, le champs d'aviation le plus important de la WWI depuis l'entrée en guerre en 1915 jusqu'à la retraite de Caporetto, et pour valoriser les faits historiques de Campoformido, Pasian di Prato, Pagnacco et Martignacco. Des documents de différentes archives italiennes et austro-hongroises seront analysés: l'ISCAG, l'AUSSME à Rome, le Kriegsarchiv de Vienne, le Musée de Caporetto, différentes collections privées italiennes et slovènes.

The research results will result in a scientific publication on the defense of Friuli in 1915, which will be translated into Slovenian, French, German and English. This volume will be unveiled during an international conference on defense in Europe in 1915 and the defense today. The 21st and 22nd of May 2016, the International Conference will be streamed in English and French to promote the results of research at the European level to develop dialogues and exchanges intercultural least on the subject between Slovenia, Austria, Italy and France.

Les résultats des recherches donneront lieu à une publication scientifique sur la défense du Frioul en 1915 qui sera traduite en slovène, français, allemand et anglais. Ce volume sera présenté lors d'une Conférence internationale sur la défense en Europe en 1915 et sur la défense de nos jours. Le 21 mai 2016, la Conférence sera retransmise en direct en anglais et en français pour promouvoir le résultat des recherches en Europe et pour développer des dialogues et des échanges interculturels sur l'argument au moins entre la Slovénie, l'Autriche, l'Italie et la France.
